If you would like to experience the excitement of Live Musical Theatre, then be a part of the  Wonargo Revue.
The Wonargo Revue is a theatrical experience organised by Scouts Australia, Queensland Branch Inc as a training activity for our Youth Members. The Wonargo Revue provides an exciting opportunity to experience one of Scouting’s great activities.
Even if you don’t want to be on stage, you can still experience the excitement of Live Theatre through one of the many support sections below.

CAST APPLICANTS

Who Can Apply?
Application for cast is open to any Uniform member of Scouts Australia – Queensland Branch Inc aged 10 and above (as at Opening Night) who is prepared to participate in Wonargo Revue in addition to their regular Scouting activities.
Consideration will be given in the first instance to members who are under 26 years of age who do not have another Scout Show in their local area this year.
Cast members must be Registered and Financial members of Scouts Australia, Qld Branch before first rehearsal. 

Any Cast member over 18 MUST have a Valid Blue Card before they can be at Wonargo.

Applications for the 2023 Season are now Closed.

You can apply for Cast for the 2024  season once applications are open in February 2024.

This will take you to the Scouting  Activity  Management System. If you have not previously Registered for an Event through AMS,  you will need to Register first (instructions are on the first page).
If you have registered previously,  just sign in and when you get to your Available Events page, select Wonargo Revue 2023

Applications for Cast close on the Monday, 1st May 2023.  

We are unable to accepted applications after this date, so don’t delay in submitting your application.

Note – Junior cast (under 14) may only be required for the occasional Tuesday night rehearsals.

SUPPORT SECTION APPLICANTS

There are many opportunities to help as part of a team in the Support areas. The Support areas consist of Parents, Scout Members and friends who are prepared to help the youth of our movement and uphold the principles of scouting.
The support areas offer a wide variety of interesting activities. These sections include:

• Back stage Crew / Set Design / Set Construction / Sound / Lighting / Small Props
• Wardrobe / Costumes / Sewing / Make Up / Wigs
• Promotions / Front of House / Ticket Sales
• Personnel / Welfare / Canteen

These sections meet at various times and locations throughout the Revue Season. Some teams require you to be 18 years old or over.

Please note – there is a requirement that you must be a Member of Scouts Australia, Qld Branch and have completed  your Compulsory Online Training Before you can assist.
